The Florida Men’s Advance is a ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Spring Hill. The motivation for this conference can be explained by the following convictions. First, men were created by God and therefore expected by God to worship and serve Him with integrity and fidelity towards Him and towards the wife God has given to man. (Genesis 1:26 & 2:7-25). Next, it is the mission of Satan to destroy and frustrate this purpose and since the beginning, Satan has waged war on the Biblical design of the family (Genesis 2). Third, although Christ has redeemed and restored all those who turn to him as Savior, the war on the family and specifically men, wages on. Purposelessness, immorality and many other enemies threaten to destroy marriages, families and lives. The local church is God’s design to strengthen, edify, and encourage men to be bold in their faith, lead their families with integrity and be faithful servants of Christ. The Men’s Advance serves as a unique point in time where men will come together from many churches for the purpose of being confronted by God’s Word and encouraged by the uniqueness of men’s fellowship. At the conference you can expect great food, humorous skits, and enriching fellowship but most importantly, you will hear challenging, biblical preaching. This conference is a “shot in the arm” for some and even life changing for others. We desire to strengthen the brethren who serve God in whatever role God has called them to.
